This is what we keep about you as a customer of Swim in Style, why we keep it, who helps us with it, and what you can ask us to do. "We" is Swim in Style; "you" is our customer, or anyone who asks us for a quote. In effect from November 6, 2026.
What we keep
- Who you are and where your pool is: your name, the service address, your phone numbers and email, and anything you tell us to get to the pool, such as a gate code.
- Your pool's service: the days we come, what we found in the water, what we added, the work done, notes, and photos of the pool and its equipment. The photos are of the pool, not of you, and the camera's location details are taken off them.
- Billing: your invoices and what you paid. A card payment is made on Stripe's page; we never see or keep your full card number.
- Messages: the emails and texts we send you and the ones you send us.
- Calls our assistant answers (below).
Why we keep it
Only to look after your pool and run our service: to schedule visits, tell you what we did, bill you, answer your questions, and keep the records the law asks of us. We do not sell any of it, and we do not use it to advertise to you or let anyone else do so.
Who helps us
We run our schedule, records, reports, invoices, texts and phone assistant on Cannonball, a software service for pool companies, and Cannonball uses other companies to deliver some of it: Stripe for card payments, Telnyx for texts and calls, an email service for emails, and Google for maps and for the phone assistant. They handle your information only to do that work for us. Cannonball's own notice, at runcannonball.com/privacy, says what each one receives and for how long.
Texts
We text you only if you agreed to get texts from us, and our texting terms say what we send and how to stop. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
When our assistant answers the phone
When we cannot pick up, a virtual assistant may answer for us. It tells you at the start that the call is recorded. It keeps the number you called from, when you called, the words both of you said and a recording of the call, and it passes what you asked for to us. Google's Gemini hears what you say so the assistant can understand and answer. If you ask not to be recorded, the recording and the words of that call are thrown away. A recording is deleted after 90 days.
How long we keep it
While you are our customer, and afterwards for as long as we need it for our records, taxes or the law. You can ask us to delete what we do not have to keep.
What you can ask us
- To see what we keep about you, to correct it, or to delete it.
- To stop texts: reply STOP to any text.
- To stop the updates we email to all our customers: reply to one and say so. Reports and bills about your own pool still come.

Children
Our service is for adults who own or look after a pool. We do not knowingly keep information about children under 13.
